F150 brake problems?

I've got a 97 F150 that started out pulling to the right when brakes were applied. Before I got to working on them I noticed the brakes were holding at stop and would not release after 5 seconds. My next step was to check pads and shoes and they were fine. Next step, found out that the fronts were the ones holding it. So I replaced the calapers and it fixed the pulling the right, but it is still holding at stops. The pedal seems to go down farther than normal and I know they are blead properly. Sooo, next step? Master cylinder or brake perportioning valve. Maybe something else. I'm lost now. Thanks Ken

You are making me have to think. deteriorate brake hose, is letting pressure through and hold fluid back when you let off of the brake peddle, Yes I know it is a reach, but the front brake have a flex hose on the calipers, If you changer then also change the fluid too.

You must take care of others. Apart from that we love everything about it. It handles very well on 4wheeler ice. 22 miles per gallon.
