My First Muscle Car! Help please !!!!?

Hey I'm looking to buy a car that handles very well and has a motor which is easy to work. I think American is something I know a good little car, but only 17 and I'm still learning things that I just wanted whether anyone knew of some good old American muscle cars, or cars in Germany was really the engines of God has much power start something like a 68 or maybe 80 Camaro Corvette or a BMW or Mercedes? let me know I love working on cars, but I am easy to work as my first car to help me get started, thanks both
