Does anyone have the installation manual for the Bell Bike Rack Serial # B445268 (model# unknown)?
I purchased the above bike rack two years ago for my SUV and have not used it since then. Now I want to use it on a rental sedan and do not know how to install it. The rack has 3 bars on it - one that rests against the trunk (at the opening) of the car, one that rests on the trunk (top) and a third u-shaped bar that rotates, but I don't know its purpose.

suggest checking the bell website for downloadable instructions.
unsolicited advise- be careful with the rack on the rental especialy where it comes into contact with a painted surface, if possible use some cloth under all the contact point to prevent scratches. keep a bottle of scratch concealing wax (turtle wax or the like) on hand befor turning it in.
