Car sale that went bad please help?
I bought a vehicle and the owner did not disclose he owed about $ 1500 in registration fees. Last 3 years have not being paid. I paid and got the tittle. What can I do? Any law I can apply or look for. Thank you for your help.
It is in California and the truck had no tags so I was let to belive that I only had to get new tags and current taxes.
How did he DRIVE IT ?
Ive never heard of that much registration fees. Maybe a few hundred, not $1500.
I expect you could take it to another state and register it.
