What does in mean when a Police Car shines a bright White light into your car at night?
Police car shone a very bright white light into my car as I drove past him in the middle of the night. It was from his main overhead lights and not from in the car itself...
A lot of newer UK police vehicles have a new light bar fitted to the roof. On this is the standard strobe lights (blues and reds), but they now have a light fitted to the sides called an alley light. It allows the officer to illuminate the areas to the side of the vehicle via a bright LED light. I think it could be just as likely that the officer was using the lights looking for something else and that you were just caught in the beam at one point.
