I have a Car Charger for my Motorola W315, can I use it with my Phillips Go Gear (2GB)?
I'm just wondering, if I absolutely have to, I'll buy a seperate charger for my mp3 player. Otherwise, if I can, then I'll use what I have! So, is it safe? If I use it, will I wreck my player or phone?

You need to check the charging voltage supplied to the device is to within about 10% above the operating voltage otherwise damage could occur!
I think the various Philips Go Gear models have a Lithium Polymer battery of about 630mAh or so.... this means they will fast-charge and will probably take a current of about a quarter of the capacity rating (ie around 120-130mA at peak charge)..... Ensure the charge can supply at least this amount of current to prevent over-heating and hence damage to the charger!.... This could subsequently damage your phone, so be careful!
Ensure the polarity of the charge is also correct.... otherwise you'll probably destroy your player!
Overall, I'd suggest getting a dedicated charger for your player as the costs are not that high!.... Probably the safest option if you are not sure!
