small knick in car windshield?
can it be stoped byapplying a woman's hard nail polish to the knick if how do you apply. do apply it than wipe it off with a cloth or what do you do?
Had this happen (impossible to avoid, where I presently reside) - called a 'pro' to fix the nick - and had him look at my other vehicle, which I bought used, and it had a nick that someone had repaired, the way you are asking (nail polish) . . .
Long story short -
The pro told me that the 'repaired' glass on my second vehicle could not now be 'fixed' (by him), and I could expect further cracking and deterioration. . . which has happened, as he predicted.
The window that he did repair, has not had any further damage occur - and it was well worth the $39 I paid - considering the $250 I will now have to pay, to replace the 'nail polish' repair job that someone else did, on my used car!!!
