What should I do if my car was broken into and they took all my old bills?
I already called my insurance and changed my bank account, but now what? I have NO clue what was in my glove box? Does anyone know about registration and what the thief can do with that? Honestly-I think it was a couple punk kids, they left my expensive stereo and took the little remote that goes with it? They took a case of CD's and all the papers in my glove box? Does anyone know what they could do with old bills, registration, and some old account numbers to old paid off bills? PLEASE HELP!
Sounds like they are about to start filling out credit applications everywhere they can. Put a possible fraud alert on your credit. Watch your mailbox very closely. They may try to steal your mail before you have a chance to check it. (To get the cards they applied for.) In fact, a locking mailbox wouldn't be a bad idea.
Getting Zander identity theft insurance might be good too.
