Best Stereo HU replacement for 1994 BMW 325i (E36)?
Just bought this car as a project and I am looking to replace the head unit, while keeping the look as original as possible. I do not have the original HU but a blue Pioneer HU. What brand and model would look the best? Thanks!
PS: The look for me is more important, however MP3 playback and Aux Input are a must! Don´t care for Bluetooth and/or SD and/or GPS. Thanks again!
Alpines always look great, they're a bit slick and not too over the top in design which sticks out like a sore thumb in contrast to the conservative interiors.
I personally bought a period late 90's Sony Mobile ES which fits the overall look of the dash on my E36. What I did was install a defeater deice that tricks the AUX in the rear into thinking it has a CD Changer connected. This allows me to connect RCA cable out for me to attach an digital music device with the audio cable but selecting AUX. Works great.
