I want to upgrade the speakers and put sub-woofers in my car...?
What do I need to do this, what kind would you suggest, and how do I go about getting them installed. The subs will probably be put in the trunk facing the seats, but other than that I don't know what to get or what to do. Please help!!! Thanks.
Well, I guess right now the budget doesn't really make a difference, I just want something that isn't outrageous but sounds really good.
go to a Car Audio shop. they will help you get everything you will need, and help you match up the different components of your sound system together.
and you'll want your subwoofer to face the back of the trunk (away from the seats) unless you plan to have the seats down. the woofer will sound much better with the extra space, and it'll be louder.
what you need - speakers, subwoofer(s), amp(s), headunit
where you can get it installed - circuit city, best buy, or any other local car audio shop
what brands to check out - Pioneer, JL, Rockford, Alpine, Infinity, JBL, etc. there are way too many high quality brands out there to try and name them all.
