1981 KZ1100 ... price?
Well, I am considering selling my 81 'KZ1100, but I know a fair price for it. It has about 32k miles in it. I put in new dragbar DogBone handles, front and rear pads, Dunlop elite III - front and Rear Bumper Chrome used - Front and rear new battery, coil and the son, throttle cable, used back-painted tank and side covers. It had an oil leak on the front left of the top board Valve - especially when the side stand. One could also use a new gasket inside the fuel valve in the tank - spits out one or two drops each time a certain time. Exhaust is decent, but it has a small leak in a pipe near the top of the engine. Receives about 40mpg. They also come with the Factory Vetter fairing, saddlebags and trunk, which were not painted to match.
Someone will pay $ 1,500. Ask $ 1750. Who sold the bike and stop being so truthful.
