MBG MG or Triumph Spitfire?

Looking to buy a sports car the old Europe for not much money ($ 1,000 - $ 2,000) and conducted research on MG, as the MGB and Triumph Spitfire. My grandfather was a GM so I have some experience or one of them, but I as the Spitfire. Anyone have any information about a car that is better, easier to work, the less expensive rooms, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Of the three you mentioned, the MGB is the easiest to find parts. MG TC or TD will probably be harder to find good parts for restoration. I agree, the Spitfire is just a small car very well, but I saw some mechanical nightmares in them. Pieces Do not Fit, constant breakdowns, etc. The only thing worse is a Jaguar XK 120. Depending on where you live, finding a competent mechanic for the Spitfire could be a problem, but Most people familiar with Sports Cars can work on an MG. After reading this, to me, I guess it seems that the MGB would be my choice but ...... sports cars are as much about heart as use as a driver. If you can not get the Spitfire head, go ahead!
