Mustang Cougar Interior

What type of cleaner should I use in my car that will not ruin the interior?

I own a 2004 Mustang with Leather interior, and i was wondering if anyone could please help me in taking care of my car without the dash fading or cracking. Armor-all does not count. I also own a 1973 Cougar, and the previous owner used that in shining the car, but now, the dash and the seats are abnormally dried, and faded. The car was brand new when he had it, 5 years later, it looks like it is from the seventies. It was garage kept. Any suggestions?

You can buy cleaner and protector any auto parts store or even Walmart. Just buy good brand or saddle soap, but not too easy to use.
