I'm having a problem installing a driver for my picture card reader?
I recently installed a security program that caused my computer to go down. It's now back from the shop running much better than it did but I'm having trouble installing my Kodak USB Picture Card reader driver. Windows XP keeps telling me installing it might hurt my machine. Is this because XP doesn't like the program that comes with the reader? Funny part of it I had the same reader on the machine with XP long before the security program knocked the computer for a loop. Should I ignore the warnings when I try to install the driver for the reader and take a chance of the machine having a file problem again or is there another answer?
I depends on the error. I would consider it safe in that it has been previously Loaded however you are taking a chance.
You may actually not require a special software and simply plug it in and it will work.
