How do you fix the Rear Seat Latch on a 1998 Chevy Cavalier?

I have a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. The other day, I was attempting to fold down the rear seat, and fabric piece that you pull came loose. It is the piece that attaches to latch on the inside of the seat. I am wondering how to fix that. I think if I can fold the seat down, I can see where it attaches back, but I cannot fold down the seat.

Try to unlatch the seat from inside the trunk.If that isn't possible,use something wide and flat between the cushion,where the fabric loop use to come out.See if you can open that gap wide enough to get to the latch.
