Car Accident-Repair?
An old woman hit me, and I've got these major white scratches and scrapes on my car. I went to auto zone, bought the right color of touch-up pen, and I put it on my car, but the color doesn't exactly match, and I'm worried. Will the paint look darker after I've applied the clear coat? Does anyone have any experience with this?
the primer under the original paint should be either grey or black. so if your repair area is lighter than your original paint that is because painted over white. Alot depends on the color and how transparent the paint is. how large are the scrapes? And no the clear wont make it darker. I know I didnt answer the whole ? but more info is needed.
