I have a Honda Accord 93 who smoke only on winter mornings. Summertime, no smoking in the first start. ideas?
We replaced the valve guide rings without helping to solve the early years, the problems of cold smoked the morning. Suggestions?
I think you're trying to fix something that is normal if the smoke is white. Because the smoke is the closure of the car out of the exhaust is hot. If the air is humid, and then moisture in the air condenses in the exhaust and turn the water as the exhaust cools, like the water that condenses on the lid off a pot of boiling water. When you start the Car One morning cold water became steam as hot exhaust gases pass through exhaust pipes. that appears as white smoke from the morning cold. the smoke will disappear when the water in the system are all converted to steam and "burnt". If the smoke is blue, then the problem Not with condensed water, but oil consumption. Changin is what seals the valve is often performed to correct. However, the seals of the valve normally only produce leakage of blue smoke on deceleration at high speed when the car is idling or not accelerating.
